Worldwide Internet/Mail Sale - July 28, 2021

Welcome to our July 28th auction. This is our 351st Auction since we started running our sales back in 1972. We are continuing our tradition of offering our bidders a wide variety of worldwide material. Here are some of the highlights of Sale #351:
  • Excellent British Commonwealth with some of the best singles and sets that we have offered in years. This includes strong showings of Falkland Islands, Br. Guiana, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, Sierra Leone and Gold Coast.
  • A nice showing of Karl Lewis illustrated covers including one from Danger Island 1939 and Fiji 1935.
  • Canada with many imperforate pairs from QV up to QE. There are many elusive items from the 1930's-40's.
  • A nice section of Canada Semi-Official Airmails including stamps, covers, and full panes.
  • A strong section of United States with many key early stamps most of which have Certificates.
  • A solid section of Germany with many nice sets, singles, souvenir sheets, postal history and postcards.
  • Hundreds of lots of fine worldwide postal history and postcards. These include many nice illustrated, advertising, multi-frankings, and Zeppelins. There is a nice group of 19th Century Trans-Atlantic stampless covers
  • Many hundreds of larger size lots, collections, accumulations, and box lots. Many of these are from the Maddy's Philatelic Service stock.
Don't forget that there is No Buyer's Fee at Vance Auctions and bidding is in inexpensive Canadian dollars. There is no extra charge for credit card use. Bidding information displayed at Stamp Auction Network for our auction lots is now being updated. Bidding on items in the sale will continue until Midnight EDT on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.

Please note that bids come in from many sources in addition to SAN (including e-mail, telephone, fax, mail, and our own web site). Even if your bid is 'green' at SAN when bidding ends, you could still be outbid. If your bid turns 'red' after Midnight on the last night of bidding, it means that a higher bid was received from another source before Midnight. Auction results for Sale #351 will be posted at www.vanceauctions.com on the evening of Saturday, July 31st.
