2345 c 3c 1851-57 Issue Covers. A massive holding of 889 3c covers arranged in rows of pouches in a file box, most are plated by the owner, includes 565 No. 11 or No. 11A and 324 No. 26 (though we noted several in the count that are Ty. IV No. 26A), group not surprisingly shows a vast range of shades, cancels and destinations, incl. several less common circular datestamp styles, condition very mixed as would be expected in a group of this size but there are Very Fine examples as well, a tremendous opportunity for study for the 3c specialist, greatly aided by the owner's plating information, Scott Retail more than $13,000.00

(with several other destinations as well), several showing 6c rates, second group of 3c covers from the William Swift correspondence to Leavenworth City Kansas (all single 3c rates), final group is Mary Palmer correspondence, showing mostly 1894-1895 Bureau 2c stamps (most opened roughly), few other 3c usages as well at the end, overall mixed condition, still with lots of original content an interesting group
