IV (9). 77 stamps, comprising 66 singles, four pairs and one strip of three, part reconstruction of the left pane of Plate One Late, attractively mounted on quadrille pages and with each position clearly identified, several with sheet margin incl. Position 10L1L, most are four-margin copies and a surprisingly high percentage are sound, nice range of the shades that one finds from this plate, most with circular datestamp cancels incl. several in blue, few other cancels incl. grids and one large Boston "Paid", couple red carrier, very little duplication of positions

OVERALL FRESH AND VERY FINE. A MARVELOUS AND SCARCE PART PLATE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE LEFT PANE OF PLATE ONE LATE OF THE 1851 ONE-CENT TYPE IV.

An excellent companion to the following lot. Two with P.F. certificates. Scott Retail with no premium for any cancels or for the various recut positions.

IV (9). 81 stamps, comprising 57 singles, six pairs and four strips of three, part reconstruction of the right pane of Plate One Late, many have four margins and are very desirable with some showing sheet margin, range of cancels incl. circular datestamps with some in blue, also red, blue or black grids, few large Boston "Paid", several better positions from the top row incl. Positions 1R, pair of 2R and 3R, 8R, 9R and 10R, very little duplication of positions, overall condition and margins are far better than most plate reconstructions but few are bound to have small flaws

VERY FINE. A FANTASTIC AND SCARCE PART PLATE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE RIGHT PANE OF PLATE ONE LATE OF THE 1851 ONE-CENT.
