FINE. A RARE AND IMPRESSIVE IMPRINT AND PLATE NUMBER BLOCK OF 18 OF THE 1899 50-CENT PHILIPPINES OVERPRINT.

This is a rare plate block -- none was offered in either Tows or Todd. Wampler had a plate block of six with similar dried gum.
