Mounted and well-annotated study collection comprising Nos. 10/10A (31), Nos. 11/11A (194), ten Experimental OB's, four 1852 OB's and two 1856 OB's, and three of the rare 1857 Plum shade, also includes eight stamps arranged on another page to show the "History of Plate 1", the quality of stamps in the Amonette chart is far above the usual, many four-margin and choice, some truly outstanding shades, Very Fine, worth careful examination, the intangible value of this color study -- created by Dr. Amonette and owned by Wilson Hulme -- should not be underestimated, the approximate Scott Retail (assuming all shades are correctly identified) is $20,000.00 (Image)
