VERY FINE. ONE OF THE FINEST OF EIGHT RECORDED 24-CENT INTERIOR DEPARTMENT COVERS IN THE CAMPBELL CENSUS.

This cover is No. 9 in the census of high-value Official stamps on cover by Alan C. Campbell (Chronicle No. 188, November 2000, pp. 287-299). The use of a 24c stamp on a small non-registered cover with one letter enclosed is enigmatic, but it is without doubt genuine and extremely desirable. (Image)
