The 2c Lithograph, which was usually used to pay the circular or drop rates, is rarely found on turned covers. This combination of rates (2c drop and 10c regular) and stamps (2c Lithograph and 5c De La Rue) is not only extremely rare, this is one of the finest 2c Lithograph covers in terms of quality. FINE. ONE OF ONLY FIVE RECORDED 2-CENT GREEN LITHOGRAPH COVERS FROM TENNESSEE. THIS JULY 4TH COVER IS POSTMARKED ONLY FOUR DAYS INTO THE NEW 10-CENT RATE PERIOD.

Only five Tennessee usages of the 2c Lithograph are contained in our Levi records. Three have five stamps for the 10c rate.
