The Edgar Kuphal Collection of Carriers and Locals - November 15, 2006

This is one of the most important collections of its kind ever formed. The collection includes proofs, off-cover stamps and covers, including a fantastic array of Pony Express usages. The collection won seven Large Gold medals in international competitions, and was last shown in the coveted Championship Class at the show in Washington D.C. Session One (lots 1001-1130) takes place on Wednesday, November 15 at 10:30 A.M., Session Two (lots 1131-1367) takes place on Wednesday, November 15 at 1:30 P.M., and Session Three (lots 1368-1734) takes place on Thursday, November 16 at 1:30 P.M.
