Two-line handstamp on 1849 folded letter to Guildford, England, "Hong Kong 29 DE 1849" backstamp, Very Fine, this marking is identified in Webb on pp. 338-340 as a pre-paquebot marking, this is the only "ship letter" stamp recorded used in Hong Kong, accompanied by page describing rate and route (Image) E. 400-500
