2110 nhbl Image$1.00 1935 Hunting Permit (RW2). Mint N.H. block of six with plate no. 131980 at bottom, rich color, choice centering, gum skips in bottom row, Very Fine, when the listings for duck stamps were created it was decided that plate blocks had to have the side selvage in order to be considered complete (we are not sure why), therefore this block and subsequent ones like it are catalogued as singles without regard to the plate no., the Durland Plate Number catalogue prices duck plate blocks without the side selvage at 80% of the value of blocks with the side selvage (Scott Retail for RW2 as full plate block is $11,500.00) (Image)
