654° c Image1866, 5c Blue (32). Uncancelled, used with United States 1869 2c and 3c (112, 113), both tied by segmented cork cancels, Hawaiian stamp affixed partly underneath U.S. 3c stamp, no Hawaiian postmark, "San Francisco Cal. Jun. 22" circular datestamp on 1870 cover with original contents to M. C. Allen in Bridgeport Conn., red "D.C. MURRAY" name-of-ship handstamp, 5c stamp with light crease, U.S. stamps with small faults, cover opened roughly at right with small piece of back missing, still Fine, a desirable and rare mixed franking cover sent shortly before the 1870 treaty period and franked with the 5c Kamehameha and U.S. 1869 stamps along with a name-of-ship handstamp, the D.C. Murray was a non-contract American bark, as such the cover was correctly prepaid for the 5c/5c non-contract rate (5c Hawaiian postage, 2c ship fee and 3c U.S. postage) (Image)
