10c Green, E. Grill (89). S.e. at left, tied by circle of V's cancel, "Honolulu Hawaiian-Islands Nov. 26" (1869) circular datestamp on yellow cover to Haverhill Mass., "San Francisco Cal. Dec. 10" circular datestamp, carried on the COMSS Idaho, which departed Honolulu Nov. 27 and arrived in San Francisco Dec. 9, with part of original contents, some edge flaws, otherwise Fine, with 1980 P.F. certificate incorrectly describing this as Scott No. 68 (Image)

Seven covers, incl. three with 12c Black, Plate 3 (36B) to Maine, Ind. and Mass., one with 12c Black (69) and two with 5c Brown (76), each with red "Honolulu U.S. Postage Paid" and San Francisco datestamps, seventh cover to England bears No. 73 with two 24c stamps (but one did not originate), somewhat mixed condition but still a Fine-Very Fine and interesting group (Image)
