Includes outstanding coverage as respects control number blocks such as 1m and 4m with reversed watermark varieties, 5m and 50m with control number missing types, a 100m example, etc. We also note proofs and imperfs, including 5m 3 imperf blocks of 4 and a pair, very extensive coverage in constant plate flaws and retouches, consular usages, 5m "cancelled" on face and much, much more. Truly a lovely study of this interesting issue, with portions obtained from other significant sales over the decades, specialist's delight, Fine to Very Fine, examine.
