1363 Scott No. 1/K18 Extremely comprehensive and valuable U.S. collection (Scott 1/K18), an outstanding collection in an overloaded "The American Album" album, offered intact as received by direction of the consignor, too bad, as there are a huge number of quality single stamps that deserve to be made into single auction lots, the collection starts with choice examples of #1 and 2, used classics include 36-38, 71-72, 112-122 complete, 230-245 complete ($5 Unused) including an extra $1.00 value Columbian, 285-293 complete, 300-313, 523, and nice Back of the Book including a nice used set of Zeppelins, C13-C15, a smattering of Postage Dues, Officials, Parcel Post, and cut squares, Unused stamps include #38, a choice #630 White Plains sheet, 658-679, C18, and a very attractive complete set of Shanghai overprints K1-K18, there's a complete set of United Nations, including the #38 souvenir sheet, in another accompanying stockbook there's an unused #73, 371 block, Farley issues, and even a C18, condition is overall quite nice as we noticed some nicely centered stamps, this is a worthwhile lot to carefully figure value, as it should really add up, a perfect lot for eBay, as you could offer hundreds of items and recoup your cost on just a few of the key things in the lot, F.-V.F.

1370 /o Scott No. 145/444 Auction Extensions and returns (Scott 145/444), Lot of 10 different Washington Franklin flat plate coils on auction sales pages, nice appearing but dubious, includes examples of 353, 386, 393 pairs or line pairs, plus the scarcer 387 and 388 coil pairs, although these are not genuine, they are a great group for study for the specialist, also included in the lot is a 151 with fake grill to appear to be a #140, an unused appearing #145 with cancel removed, and imperf Revenue #R85a, an attractive lot that would be a good start to any quality reference collection, F.-V.F.

1373 Scott No. 367/QE4 Beautiful block of four collection (Scott 367/QE4), Handsome block of four collection neatly housed in two Scott National albums, hasn't seen the light of day for nearly 40 years and the stamp colors are as fresh as the day they were issue, nice run of better items, including a nice group of Washington Franklins, the 1920 Commemoratives, 692-701, 803-834, plus Airmails issues, including a handsome C18 block, plus Special Delivery and Special Handling, this is one of those meticulously assembled old time collections where collectors could afford to collect blocks of four, the quality and centering is well above normal for a collection of this size, with most of the blocks being never hinged, or just lightly hinged on the top two stamps, there are many hidden GEMS to be found throughout this lot, and a little elbow grease will prove very rewarding for the dealer or collector who wants to spend the time plucking GEM quality stamps from these blocks, a wonderful collection with great eye appeal, F.-V.F.
