Stamp of the Day at StampAuctionNetwork

What is Stamp of the Day? “Stamp of the Day” is a feature that highlights a single lot on StampAuctionNetwork.com, giving your auction maximum visibility. Originally sold weekly, it is now offered daily through a dynamic, auction-style placement system, similar to “pay-for-placement” models used by Google and other platforms.

How Does It Promote My Auctions?

• Features your lot prominently, including an image, description, and link to your sale.
• Highlights your auction firm’s profile to increase exposure and participation.
• It can promote upcoming lots or showcase prices realized from past sales.

How It Works

• Your lot appears in the Stamp of the Day slider, which rotates every 5 seconds.
• The top five bids are displayed, and your ranking determines placement.
• Bids are based on impressions. Only the first impression per visitor counts, and automated traffic (spiders) is excluded.
• Minimum bid: $0.01 per impression.
• Billing is monthly, starting with an initial $500 credit.
• Bidders pay slightly more than the next lower bid; ties go to the earlier bid.
• Promotions: currently 20% off for the top bidder, scaling to 90% off for the fifth place.
• You can set daily or monthly budgets; listings stop automatically once your budget is exceeded.
• Change your lot or bid as often as you like.

Requirements

• Lot must be running as a dynamic bid or live bid auction at StampAuctionNetwork.
• Lot must have an image with a minimum resolution of 150 pixels wide. (Recommended image size: 250–500 pixels.)

Getting Started

• Log in to your StampAuctionNetwork Admin account.
• Select Edit Auction Firm Information / Start “Stamp of the Day”.
• Enter your Sale Name, Dates, Sale Number, Lot Number, Minimum Bid, and Company Profile.
• Set Start Auction = Yes.
• Your $500 starting credit will be used first; monthly billing begins after it is exhausted. For Complete Step by Step instructions see this QuickStart Word Document.
