1110 /o    20, 21, 23 imageMexico, 1864-66, Eagle issue, San Luis Potosi. 4th Period - incredible lot of 61 stamps bearing sub-numbers, nearly all different except for a mint ½r 10-1866 sub 11 (MEPSI cert), all are used from 16 different sub-offices, these include Cedral, Espiritu Santo, Guadalcazar, Jaral, Mazapil, Moctezuma, Santa Maria del Rio, Villa de San Francisco to name those which are probably scarcest, though even the more frequently seen towns have their rarities as well; occasional fault, mostly F.-V.F., it might not be possible to duplicate this lot in a lifetime. Twenty 3rd Period stamps used from nine sub-offices, all bearing sub-numbers, these include 4r 226-1864 sub 2 Catorce and ½r 189-1864 sub 48 Matehuala., all different except two 1r 189-1864 sub 50 are tied to a piece (Catorce - Schatzkes 1472), in addition there is a mint 4r 226-1864 sub 11, a 2r 189-1864 sub 44 with fancy Cedral (Schatzkes 1475) is rare but has rather poor margins, mostly F.-V.F.
