THIS IS LARGER THAN OUR USUAL SALES WITH CLOSE TO 2300 LOTS and a pre-sale
estimate of $260,000.
Included are good range of Collections and a large selection of Bulk Postal
History lots. Also a good strength in Australian Colonies, Postal Stationery, an
extensive collection of 1d Engraved issues, Kangaroos, KGV, and an nice array
of New Guinea & Papua including the popular NWPI overprints. Also a
nice collection of some 75 Stamp Boxes, many in Sterling Silver, plus a
group of ex-dealer's stock which has been marked down to sell. A good
offering of Great Britain Penny Blacks will also be a feature of this sale.
Personal viewing, and/or room attendance at this sale is especially advised at this sale as a large number of lots have been priced to clear, so competition is expected to be strong. IMPORTANT: Once the auction is over, unsold lots are available at the estimated prices plus buyer's premium, NOT at the reserve. If you are interested in a lot then you must make your bids prior to the auction to stand a chance of getting a lot below estimate.
