Belgium -- World War I Military postcard with hand painted art on front Postcard is in primo condition and has full Postes Militaires Leberposterij mark along with 129 military censor mark. Each major unit (Army Division) of the Belgian Army was given a special stamp bearing the division number. The uniform type of this date stamp makes identification easy, although many variants exist. Card is written in French, mailed to North Easton Massachusetts. Military mail with no postage required. Front of card is hand painted floral scene. Most covers have been soaked for the stamps. Complete covers with registration stickers are hard to come by. Ivory coast handstamp seal on both sides (middle left on front; center seal at reverse).
