751 Obl 45 image#45, 5/- Grey and yellow orange, a spectacular used block of sixteen (4 x 4), with a remarkable face value of £4, multiple crisp strikes of "Perth, W.A./5 JE 33" c.d.s. postmarks, fairly well centered for a multiple of this size, strong colors, some slight discoloration of the paper, central row of vertical perforations separated down into second horizontal row, fine overall; a showpiece that likely matches the largest known used multiple of any bi-colored Kangaroo stamp (for singles $1,600+). 752 og 45c image#45c, 5/- Grey and yellow orange, misplaced kangaroo, a striking mint stamp with the central kangaroo vignette shifted strongly (approximately 3mm) to top (the ACSC catalog incorrectly states this is misplaced downwards), deep colors, traces of o.g., some minor soiling; with the printing of the bicolored kangaroos, there was the inherit challenge of making sure that the central vignette was never inverted (none have ever been discovered), as well as making sure that the vignette was centrally placed within the map of Australia, the printing officials did an admirable job, as misplaced kangaroos are very rare and only a handful from all the various watermarked issues exist (A$4,000).
