740 O 34a image#34a, 1/- Emerald, watermark inverted, an immensely rare used example of this important watermark error, being quite well centered and very lightly cancelled with an unobtrusive Queensland town c.d.s., couple of corner creases, one of which (at bottom left) ends in a minute marginal tear, of little consequence given that is is one of only three recorded examples, all of which are used, all three recorded examples have faults, this being the finest and best appearing of the three, very fine appearance; a key rarity of the issue, as well as one of the rarest stamps of the entire British Empire (A$20,000).
