145 Pbl 193P4 image#193P4, 2c Black brown, plate proof on card, top left corner margin block of four, being positions 1-2, 11-12 from the unique sheet of 100, exceptionally bright and fresh, large margins, trivial corner crease at top left and a few stray marks at the extreme top of the selvage, neither are of any importance, extremely fine; only two values of the special printings (this 2c and the 3c) exist as plate proofs, both were in the Earl of Crawford and Ackerman collections, the 2c sheet was intact until 2004, when it was broken up into various size multiples; each handstamped "J.E.
