1159 Pbl RB2P4 var. image#RB2P4 var., 2c Green and black, plate proof on card, top sheet-margin block of 36 (6x6), with registration markers and cutout in the selvage, the left stamp and the third stamp from the left in the top row each show a major double transfer of the frame, positions 3 and 5 in the plate of 210, these are both much more pronounced than most double transfers showing doubling of numerous lines all over the frame, block with large margins all around, rich colors and detailed impressions showing the double transfer well, extremely fine; an important position piece for the student of this issue; cataloged as twelve normal blocks of four.
