715 c 341 image#341, 50c Violet, attractive single with bright color and fine centering, tied to message portion of 2c Red postal reply card (#UY11m) by New York machine cancel, plus additional 1c Green (#498; small corner scuff) tied by New York oval, flown on the 1929 Round the World flight of the "Graf Zeppelin", addressed to Wurttemberg, so flying the leg Lakehurst to Friedrichshafen, apparently returned to the sender using the reply portion (not present) as registry c.d.s. of Aug. 30th and Sept. 1st of Missouri and Texas respectively are found on the reverse, violet United States flight cachet, very fine Zepplin usage; the use of the 50c on cover is a great rarity (Scott catalog value $5,000.00), despite being used 20 years after issuance this is a proper postally used example; a wonderful and affordable opportunity to acquire this stamp on cover, the few used during the period being rarely available .
