1402 ogOblc 34-47 #34-47, Valuable Small Queens specialized balance in Lighthouse album with specially prepared pages, includes a couple hundred mint and used stamps with numerous mint and used multiples from pairs to as large as a mint block of 20 (5x4) of the 3c Bright vermilion, includes some plate number and imprint pieces such as a 1/2p Black full top imprint and plate no. 2 block of 20, also includes imperforate horizontal pairs of the 1/2p Black and 2c Deep green, stamps have been collected to show the different printings, shades and perforations, plus other varieties, in addition there are 20 covers showing various domestic and international sendings including five with 1/2c frankings to make the 1c rate or in combination with other values to make higher rates, overall attractive and quite clean, most mint have o.g., few flaws are present but majority are fine-very fine; an excellent collection to build upon for a specialized collection of this popular issue. 1403 ogObl 34-47 #34-47, Substantial Small Queens accumulation of well over 400 mint and used consisting of an old-time specialized collection in album plus a stockbook, all values are represented and have been collected by printings and for the great number of shades that are found on these values, perforation varieties are found throughout including a 3c Copper red perf. 12 1/2, accompanied by a 1996 BPA certificate stating faded, some desirable multiples are present including a scarce used block of four of the 50c Deep blue, 5c Gray imperforate pair, plus a nice range of cancels are found throughout, condition varies, the modest amount of mint are found ranging from unused without gum to some exceptional stamps with full o.g., some faults will be found but many fine-very fine collectable items are present and a very useful accumulation for study with a hefty total catalog value. 1414 c 8, 9 image#8, 9, 1860-63 1c Red lilac and 2c Orange pair, making a very scarce combination on attractive yellow cover to Cambridge, Quebec, oval bar cancels tie the pair to the single and one light strike just ties the 1c to the cover, "W.O. Forks/N.B./Sep. 21, 1865" with date in manuscript is the apparent town of posting with several New Brunswick transits, very fine and attractive cover; both of these low values are scarce on cover and this combination is especially desirable. 1415 c 9a image#9a, 1860 10c Vermilion, diagonal half used as 5c, neatly tied to petite mourning cover by clear "13" oval grid cancel of Fredericton, with that town's July 4th, 1860 c.d.s. on the reverse and marked "In haste" on the front, to the railway office in Moncton, New Brunswick, stamp is bright with rich color, two very large margins even though the perforations have been clipped from scissors separation, very fine; nice example of this bisect usage for the 5c domestic rate, the vast majority are notorious for their poor condition (Unitrade C$1,000.00).
