I (#634d), panes are exceptionally fresh, well centered, o.g., n.h., a piece of clear cellophane was used as interleaving on gum side of each pane, covers are crisp and flawless, extremely fine; while 56,000 of these booklets were issued as an experiment very few of these were preserved; a most interesting and rare booklet in outstanding condition (Furman #BK80a BC5A IVc). 979 BK BK84a image#BK84a, 1932 37c Violet on buff complete unexploded experimental booklet, with cellophane interleaving, consisting of two panes of 3c Deep violet (#720b), panes are fresh with strong color, well centered internally but trimmed tight along the left edge of the panes, o.g., n.h., covers are pristine, light staple indentations at right of front cover from Post Office packaging, very fine and choice; this is a further experiment with cellophane using a lighter gauge than that of #BK80a, extra cost and difficulty of handling resulted in the abandonment of the project, as before these booklets are a great rarities because very few were saved (Furman #BK84 BC9A Vd).
