Ia, especially handsome used example of this important classic rarity, with large to huge margins nearly all around including small portion of adjacent stamp at top, just touching at bottom, although the all-important plumes are virtually intact, particularly deep luxuriant color and an especially detailed impression on bright paper, portion of town c.d.s., completely free of any of the flaws which affect a large portion of the existing copies, very fine; the extreme rarity of Type Ia stamps is due to the fact that only 18 of the 20 positions on the bottom row of plate 4 sheets (200 subjects) produced this distinctive type, which shows a full design at bottom; 1980 and 2002 PF certificates.
