1381 og 231b image#231b, 2c Columbian, imperforate, vertical pair, unused, without gum as always, enormously large margins all around, showing portions of adjacent stamps at left, with some of the typical flaws (light creasing and faint soiling at bottom) associated with this rare error, as the unique sheet was crumpled at one time, however this pair is far more fault free than any other we have seen, plus its margins are the most impressive of any pair known, extremely fine for this; no more than 25 to 50 pairs can exist, with this being one of the finest available; ridiculously undercataloged considering how infrequently this error is seen offered at auction; 1974 and 2001 PF certificates; ex-Floyd.
