276 ogOc U1/UO72 #U1/UO72, Substantial largely mint cut square collection consisting of 585 mostly different plus a few entires, starts with the first 1853-1855 Issues which is nearly complete with over half used, thereafter there is the occasional used example but they are distinctly in the minority with a very large majority being fresh mint, each issue is well represented with both the 3c+1c double imprint Star Dies, the Civil War period of 1861-65 includes all the high values including some color shades, the Bank Note period issues of both the Reay and Plimpton issues are extensive with many different high values on the various colored papers, same with the late 19th and early 20th century, plus many nice revalued issues, issues go to about 1970, air mails are essentially complete and there is a nice selection of officials, condition is quite uniform and nice, a few faults are found in the early period, overall size is generally nice with many full size, and full corners will be found throughout, fine-very fine with the vast majority very fine or better; an attractive and valuable collection well worth examining. 36,580.00
