2268 nh/ogbl 109 var. #109 var., 1907 9p blue, perf. 12 1/2 and compound perf. 12 1/2 and 11, a lovely fresh bottom right corner sheet-margin block of 12 with "50" control marking, this block shows a very unusual combination of perforations, horizontally all perforations are 12 1/2, vertically the first five rows of perforations from the right side of the sheet are perf. 11, the next row and the left edge of the block are perf. 12 1/2, this yields eight stamps perf. 12 1/2x11, two stamps perf. 12 1/2 and two stamps perf. 12 1/2:11:12 1/2:12 1/2, quite well centered for this, all perfs. intact, o.g., all but two stamps are n.h., very fine; this is exceptionally scarce in a combination block and far more valuable than the sum of its parts, excellent for exhibition (S.G. #256, 256b; £564+ for the single stamps).
