1114 og 116 image#116, 10c Yellow, the mint single offered here was once considered to be one of the finest existing original gum examples of this stamp, as it is perfectly centered amid lavishly large margins and retains full pristine o.g. that has been only very lightly hinged, it at one time also had dazzling color that has since been affected by oxidization (to a degree unlike any other yellow stamp we have seen), leaving the color a uniform shade of olive brown; perhaps in the hands of a very skilled and patient expert the color of this otherwise incredible stamp could be restored; 1992 PF certificate (issued prior to becoming oxidized).
