1039 ogO Valuable high cataloging mostly mint/unused collection to 1982 in a Scott album, includes used #1 and #2, 1851 Issues mostly used and include four 1c values and the 5c, from 1857 onward the collection is largely unused or mint and includes 1857 Issue to 90c, high cataloging 1861 Issues including grilled stamps, 1869 Pictorials to 30c, plus some re-issues, strong Large Bank Notes, with sets to the 90c (four) as well as some grilled stamps, Small Bank Notes complete, all commemoratives are present including the Columbian and Trans-Mississippi sets, Bureau Issues complete to $5.00 (two) as well as the 1902 set complete to $5.00, solid Washington-Franklin heads, with sets to the $1.00, plus coil singles and pairs, some Bluish papers, #534B (thin), etc., just about complete from 1922 on, back-of-the-book includes complete runs of air posts, special deliveries, Offices in China, parcel posts, hunting permits, as well as an unusually strong showing of officials and a very useful selection of newspaper stamps, the collection concludes with some saving stamps, this was collected in the "old style", with gum being less important than the face, therefore there are no gum, part o.g. and full o.g. stamps in the earlier period (plus an occasional regummed stamp), and the condition is a little mixed, however many attractive well centered stamps will be found throughout; this collection not only has an enormous catalog value, but should have a very high resale value as well.
