Raney, Jr., an especially clean assemblage of over 425 different stamps neatly housed in two Scott hingeless Platinum albums, the vast majority being mint, although the early part of the collection (the most sparsely populated) contains a few nice used stamps, with the greatest concentration of value found in very attractive mint stamps beginning with the 1893 Columbians through 1926 issues, plus a few later, loaded with a large number of very salable quality stamps in the $10.00 to $500.00 catalog range, and several much higher, we note early commemoratives, range of Bureau issues, followed by an especially nice and comprehensive selection of Washington-Franklins, augmented with coils in singles and line pairs, back-of-the-book issues include air posts complete (less 1930 Graf Zeppelins), and a smattering of Special Deliveries, Postage Dues, Newspapers, Parcel Posts and Hunting Permit stamps; while an occasional stamp will be found with a small fault or being regummed, the great majority will have o.g., often lightly hinged or never hinged, being well centered and sound, overall fine-very fine, with a large number very fine or better; a great lot for the retailer, internet dealer or collector wanting to fill in numerous spaces with attractive stamps; fourteen certificates accompany.
