1772 ng R109a image#R109a, 10c Blue and black, Inverted Center, an incomparable example that is not only one of the very finest in existence, but is also one of the few unused examples recorded, possessing much larger margins and far better centering than the great majority of existing copies, completely free of any flaws so commonly associated with the Inverted Centers, strong fresh colors, very fine and incredibly choice; there are approximately 52 known singles and one pair of this invert (21 of which have been certified), during our research we found none better centered than the example offered here and only a handful are fault free as this one is; an important stamp for the collector who seeks out only the finest available quality; 1999 PSE certificate; ex-Joyce and Lyons. 1775 O R118a image#R118a, $1.00 Blue and black, Inverted Center, a phenomenal quality used example of this rarity, which may very well be the finest known #R118a in existence, being not only completely fault free, but is in extraordinary condition as well, featuring exceptional centering within large margins, plus its colors are strong and unfaded, neat and unobtrusive ms. cancel, extremely fine; this gem is deserving of placement in the finest quality collection of revenues; we record 60 single examples and no multiples of this stamp, 30 have been certified and of these only 7 are fault free and centered fine or better, additionally a significant number are found with repaired or filled punch cancels, all suggesting the immense rarity of this stamp in this outstanding condition; 1991 PSE certificate; ex-Lyons. 1779 O R139a image#R139a, 15c Brown and black, Inverted Center, a fabulous used example of this great revenue rarity, possessing several outstanding physical attributes which place it, without question, as the finest example extant among the mere 13 recorded singles and one pair, featuring outstanding centering for this within unusually large margins, completely free of the faults that plague virtually every known example, strong fresh colors, neat unobtrusive ms. cancel, a very fine and choice example of one of the most important Inverted Center revenues known by virtue of both its immense rarity and its incomparable quality; according to the census by Larry Lyons only a total of six #R139a singles have been certified, however upon examination of photographs of all the known examples, we determined that only two exist with very fine centering (the rest are terribly off center) and of the two only the Floyd copy is fault free; 1994 PF certificate; ex-Lyons.
