1301 nh 34/321,C1/O45 Canada balance of an extraordinarily high quality mint collection of 275 stamps from 1870 to 1952 (#34/321, C1/O45), only a scattering of stamps to about 1927 and from that point it is quite solid, however the virtue of this collection is not necessarily in its completeness, but that each stamp in the collection has been individually selected for its overall freshness, centering and the fact that they are all never hinged, while most of the stamps found in the collection are in a modest catalog value range, a great many of them would retail for significant percentages of catalog and, in some cases, for multiples of catalog (i.e. gem low values of the 1879-1902 Maple Leaf and Numeral issues, 1908 Quebec Tercentenary, etc.), additionally there is a very strong representation of back-of-the-book issues including complete officials; as previously stated all have o.g. and are never hinged, very fine-extremely fine; a marvelous lot for the fastidious collector wishing to begin a collection of this popular country. 5,250.00+
