138 og 43 image#43, 10c Blue green reprint, without gum as issued, the example offered here is one of the most perfectly centered examples of the Ten Cent Reprint in existence, as this remarkable stamp features mathematically precise centering all around, which is quite impressive when one compares the average centering found on most known copies, additionally its color and impression could not be more prooflike on the brightest paper imaginable, extremely fine; of the mere 516 issued of this value, we estimate that less than 5% of the existing population possesses margins of sufficient size to allow for its perforations to clear the design all around, and of this small group we doubt there are many whose centering is as precise as the gem presented here; a stamp for the finest collection; 1992 PSE and 2000 PF certificates.
