I overprint, the two left vertical stamps are Ty. I with no stop after 1921 variety, and the top right stamp has a Ty. II overprint, quite fresh and bright, o.g., top pair l.h., bottom pair n.h., fine-very fine (Scott #C3, C3b; $490.00+). (Image) £350+

1830 og S.G. #148d imageS.G. #148d, 1921 35c Halifax air post overprint inverted, Ty. I, with wide spacing between "Air" and "Mail", with no stop after "1921", interestingly the overprint is also split between top and bottom of stamp identifying it as having come from sheet iv (see Robson Lowe Encyclopedia) of the four known inverted overprint sheets, therefore only 25 of this type of invert exist, a lovely mint example of this important air post rarity, being exceptionally well centered and with deep luxuriant color, o.g., relatively lightly hinged, very fine; 1996 BPA certificate (Scott #C3a; $4,500.00). 1831 og S.G. #191 imageS.G. #191, 1930 50c on 36c Olive green "Columbia" Flight overprint, a wonderfully choice mint example of this air post rarity, being extraordinarily well centered and possessing outstanding freshness, deep luxuriant color, immaculate o.g. with just the barest suggestion of hinging, there is a mild natural corner bend at bottom right mentioned for accuracy only, extremely fine; signed and accompanied by a 1968 RPS certificate (Scott #C5; $6,000.00).
