1349 ogng S.G. #4/69 S.G. #4/69, Worthwhile mint/unused collection consisting of 64 different stamps, 1853-1902, with the greatest concentration of value to be found in a very nice selection of classic Triangle issues, which virtually all have three full margins, includes such better items as 1853 4p Blue on slightly blued paper (two different shades), 1858 6p Pale rose lilac and 6p Deep rose lilac, 1858-59 1/- Bright yellow green and Deep dark green, and the 1863-64 De La Rue issues well represented including the 1/- Bright emerald green and 1/- Pale emerald green, collection is also quite solid from the beginning of the perforated issues from 1864 right on through to 1902; as always with collections of this area, small faults and or no gum are found on the early issues, although their overall condition is much better than usual for a mint collection, unused to o.g., generally fine-very fine; catalog value is quite considerable, undoubtedly exceeding $15,000.00 in Scott, and much higher by Stanley Gibbons (Scott #2a/71).
