These were sent to Whatford for perforating and a few of the 5/- were done on an old line machine. Foster states that about a dozen mint copies are known to be in existence. The perforation in this instance measures exactly 14 all around, instead of the normal comb perforations which measures 13.8 x 13.7.A premium quality mint example of one of the rarest stamps from this popular reign (Scott #127 var.).
