Both stamps have been supplied from the Regimental Libraries and used on special regimentally printed envelopes showing the "Via Southampton" routing. The overprint was applied to prevent the stamps from being stolen or misused. The unauthorized overprinting of Indian postage stamps was forbidden after 1905. (imagea) (Image) Est. $500-750
