1123 P/Pbl R209P4/RB5P4 #R209P4/RB5P4, Plate proofs on card in plate, imprint blocks and strips, sixteen items from the Second, Third and Proprietary issues, all blocks or strips with full imprint and many with plate numbers, strongest is the Second issue, with imprint blocks of ten of 2c, 4c (top and bottom), 6c, 15c and 30c values, four of these have plate numbers, also imprint strips of three of 70c and $3.00 (latter on both India and card) and a plate no. block of four of the $10.00, the Proprietary stamps are in plate number strips of five, one 4c with selvage thin, otherwise a very fine and especially handsome lot; we have cataloged this conservatively as single stamps, obviously a substantial premium is involved for plate and imprint pieces. $2,209.00+
