Mostly mint 20th Century collection to 1987 in a Scott album, starting with a nice unused four-margin example of #10X1 (PF cert.), then there are a few scattered used 19th Century in mixed quality, the value really begins with the Washington-Franklin issues, which contain some choice quality never hinged stamps, several of which are accompanied by PF certificates, highly complete from 1925 onward, including the White Plains sheet and Kans.-Nebr. overprints, air posts complete including an attractive Graf Zeppelin set and a few other back-of-the-book items, also includes a couple stocksheets and stockcards of miscellaneous stamp, as mentioned above, many of the stamps are in premium very fine-extremely fine quality; 28 PF certificates accompany.

Interesting balance of consignment comprised of a few hundred largely 19th century mint and used singles, as well as some multiples, housed on six stockpages, there are many useful and interesting things to be found here, notably some better cancels, quite a few stamps with oversized margins and some with choice centering, some better items noted include #14 and 17 with red cancels, 18 used, 22 used, 24 with red Carrier cancel, 33 with part of "Steam/Ship" cancel, 35 mint and with red cancel, 37 mint and tied to piece by Boston "Paid" in grid, 64, 67, 70 and 71 with "Specimen" overprints, 73 mint and used with large pre-printing paper fold, 76 (2), 77, 78 mint, 93 with split grill, 94 with double grill, 98, 112 with pre-printing paper fold, 117 mint, 162 mint and with red NYFM cancel, several used "jumbo" banknotes, 343-47 used pairs and a good deal more, some small faults and most mint regummed or disturbed o.g., generally fine to extremely fine or so appearing; well worth viewing carefully.

High quality mint balance of a large collection consisting of several hundred stamps neatly arranged in a Lighthouse hingeless album, 1857-1944, the early period is a little sparse, as most of those stamp were made into individual lots, value really starts in the Bank Note period, then there are many useful stamp from the turn-of-the-century, the most impressive part of the collection is the outstanding group of Washington-Franklin heads, with a plethora of premium quality singles as well as coil line pairs (all of the better line pairs are certified), from 1922 on there is a high degree of completion, the back-of-the-book issues are also quite desirable, with air posts, special deliveries, postage dues, Offices in China, officials, newspaper stamps and a complete run of Hunting Permits through 2002, plus a few better plate blocks, the overall condition is excellent, with the vast majority having been purchased individually, o.g., a large percentage is never hinged, only a few minor faults present, the collection is overwhelmingly very fine to extremely fine and highly saleable; an impressive 160 PF or PSE certificates accompany.
