943 O   Highly desirable used 19th century collection balance in a springback album, starts off with five #1's and two #2's, extensive showing of the 1851 Issue, especially the 1c value, with nearly 50 examples, mostly Type II or IV, but three Ty. IIIa as well, many are plated and there are better cancels including a green town pmk., there are two 5c values and about thirty 10c value including four Type I and one Type IV, the 1857 Issue also contains a specialized grouping of One Cent stamps, with plate varieties and better cancels to be found, useful 1861 Issues, with two 90c values and some better grills, 1869 Pictorials are complete, Bank Notes to 90c (four), Columbians complete with both shades of the $3.00, Bureau issues to $5.00, Trans-Mississippis to $1.00, some special deliveries and a nice range of official stamps, most of these stamps were bought on an individual basis at auction or retail, and while there are some small faults present, the vast majority are fine-very fine or better appearing, with a large number of attractive eye-appealing stamps throughout; 37 certificates (mostly PF) accompany. 944 og/nhO 9X1/851, C1-18, K4/17 #9X1/851, C1-18, K4/17, Valuable and high cataloging balance of collection housed in two Lindner albums, hundreds of different stamps from 1845 through 1939, predominately mint, but used stamps are typically found in the classics until the end of the Bank Note period, which include such items as 5c 1847 Issue, 1867 90c "F" Grill, 1869 30c Pictorial, from the 1887 issues on nearly all of the stamps are mint and nearly all have o.g., loaded with many high catalog value sets and singles such as the 1893 Columbians complete through the $5.00, nice run of Bureau issues, two 1898 $1.00 Trans-Mississippis (one with s.e.), and the 20th century is very comprehensive with a plethora of better Washington-Franklin issues, including high values, coil singles and pairs, 1926 White Plains souvenir sheet and 1939 Kans.-Neb. overprints complete are noted as well, air posts of the 1918-1933 period are complete including the 1930 Graf Zeppelin set, concluding with a nice run of Offices in China overprints and a few booklet panes and plate blocks; condition, particularly on the 19th century material is mixed, while 20th century is largely sound and many stamps are quite choice, vast majority of mint stamps have o.g., some are even n.h., examination will reveal substantial value over our conservative estimate; an impressive total of 56 certificates (largely PF and PSE) accompany.
