GOSPORT, WINCHESTER and LONDON, the letter was finally deemed UNDELIVERABLE and RETURNED to the Canadian DEAD LETTER OFFICE (received 29 AU), with a total of TWENTY-FIVE POSTMARKS and ELEVEN MANUSCRIPT ENDORSEMENTS in all covering both front and

for each leg of the journey, re-posted in Canada in early November 1903, it reached it's final destination in Dumferline, Scotland in December, a most colourful and attractive card, with a few 'battle scars' from it's arduous journey (stains,
