Our 62th Michael E. Aldrich Auction sale will close on February 24th, 2010. This sale will be a mail and live internet auction. The descriptions and lot listing information will be available on our www.aldrichstamps.com website and Stamp Auction Network. In addition we will have live internet bidding for this sale on Stamp Auction Network. The live bidding session will begin at 3:00 pm MST, or 5:00 pm EST.

This particular sale is exclusively United States stamps and includes 419 lots of U.S., B.O.B. and Revenue stamps. There are some interesting lots in the classic U.S. section highlighted by several better items from the 1869 Issue. There is a nice showing of Washington-Franklins with emphasis on high quality and graded stamps. There is a good section of Plate Blocks. Several areas from the B.O.B. are present along with a very strong section of U.S. Revenues including many items from the First Issue. In addition there are some Beer Stamps and an excellent section of Match & Medicines.The Duck section includes Federal and State Ducks along with several Graded and Certified stamps. There is also a strong showing of Taxpaids. The sale rounds out with eight lots of Philippines 1907 Special Printings, each with a certificate.

As always we will provide opening bids for this sale on our www.aldrichstamps.com about five days prior to the closing date. We update these opening bids daily and then a couple of times the last two days.
