• Mystery Collection: How do some collections remain hidden? We simply don't know the history of this intriguing olde tymer! Neatly arranged and annotated in pencil on home made quadrille album pages, these collections had their last stamps added in the 1930's but the main strength is definitely in the 19th century issues with page after page crammed with old stamps. Condition is mixed, we see fine stamps - and slightly damaged stamps (for example, mint stamps often without gum) - a typical old collection in fact! Each lot has a small description, in many cases we have added a catalogue value (our estimate levels usually between 5% - 20%) but let us know if you need any more information! I hope I'm this fun when I'm 80...
