479 c 38 image38: 5¢ slate green pair tied by violet cork cancels to cover sent sometime in early September '87 from Economy, NS (matching coloured partially-missing cds dispatch at bottom) to Point-de-Galle, CEYLON via London 23 SP and Colombo 13 OC, with 14 OC receiver on back, re-directed the same day back to Colombo and received the 15 OC, the cover was roughly opened at bottom and has suffered greatly from its travels with what appears to be fire, water and tape damage/stains visible on front and back, an extremely rare Foreign Destination cover, full of character.
